Botanical Gardens Visits

In order to get inspiration and practical advice for our garden, we are running two trips to the Botanical Gardens. The first trip is today (Monday 8th March). The second trip is Monday 15th March - and there are still a few places available. If you are interested in becoming involved with the Eco Club and would like to go on the trip - collect a form from the office as soon as possible and return it to Mr Jones.
Design the Garden Competition

We need a top design for our garden, including what we should grow in our raised beds and greenhouses. In particular we need some ideas for how our sensory garden should look. You can collect an entry form from Mrs Gray.
The winner will recieve shop vouchers and will have their name on a plaque in the garden.

The Big Dig
On Sunday March 7th thirty volunteers started work on our community garden. We dug raised beds, replanted bulbs, planted seeds in pots, put up green houses and built tyre flower pots.
In just three and a half hours we made a fantastic start to our garden!
Thanks to Mrs Hall and Mrs Moran for the refreshments and cakes!
Our next jobs will to build another raised bed, decide what else we want to plant and decide how to decorate our tyre flower pots.
